Invensys has an exciting opportunity for a Director, Nuclear IV&V.

Job Summary:
1. Provide direction and oversight to Nuclear IV&V Managers at the multiple locations where nuclear projects are executed.
2. Ensure nuclear power projects executed by IOM Nuclear or are subcontracted to sub-suppliers comply with regulatory and commercial nuclear power IV&V requirements. Provide IV&V management oversight of nuclear power projects.
3. Interface with nuclear power customers during the sales and proposal preparation process to ensure regulatory and nuclear power customer requirements are understood and met.
4. Provide the Nuclear Operation’s IV&V interface during audit and surveillance activities performed by regulatory agencies and nuclear power customers.
5. Manage and perform self assessments of IV&V activities associated with IOM Nuclear Operations work and projects.

Required Competencies:
Extensive knowledge of Codes, standards, and regulations as they are related to the IOM Nuclear Operations projects, system design, construction, and testing (V&V) requirements. Knowledge of nuclear power plant and system designs and functions.

US and International nuclear regulatory bodies
IOM Nuclear, Chief Nuclear Officer, Nuclear Projects Delivery Director, Nuclear Resource and Engineering Director and Project Managers
Commercial Nuclear Power Project Managers
Supplier and Sub-Supplier Project Managers

Skills and Knowledge:
Strong management and communication capabilities. Knowledge of nuclear power and related industry regulations, codes and standards.

Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of commercial nuclear power experience: management and V&V activities.

Education:
BS Engineering, MS Management is desirable – or equivalent education and experience.

Significant travel required (including international) – up to 30%
