Invensys Operations Management has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Nuclear Quality Engineer in their Foxboro, Massachuetts location. POSITION OVERVIEW: This position reports to the Project Quality Assurance Manager (PQAM) and: • Performs project Quality Planning and oversight activities. • Advises the PQAM and Project Engineer of potential quality problems and recommended solutions. • Provides project quality oversight to help ensure that the requirements of the Quality Plan and customer requirements are satisfied. • Conducts periodic surveillances / readiness reviews of project activities to ensure project compliance. • Reviews test procedures for establishing QA witness/hold points. • Monitors testing activities to ensure procedural compliance. • Performs pre-test inspection of cabinet/test enclosure assemblies in accordance with applicable procedures. • Performs pre-ship inspections in accordance with applicable procedures. • Provides the project QA interface with the customer project quality representative(s). Requirements: - B.S. Degree in Quality, Engineering or equivalent - 5+ years experience in quality assurance; 2+ years in nuclear power or other highly regulatory industry - Knowledge of project execution and oversight requirements - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Solid analytical skills - Demonstrated hands-on approach to problem resolution and continual improvement - Thorough understanding of Quality Assurance regulations, standards and guidelines (10CFR50 App.B, 10CFR21, NQA-1, IEEE, etc.) - Lead Auditor certification and experience; Inspection certifications and experience As part of our team, you’ll build a strong career with a collaborative, knowledgeable team of people.
